Locally Made, Locally Played provides a platform for established and emerging artists to connect to listeners in Utah and around the world. Featured artists will receive a copy of their recorded tracks and a $100 stipend.

Musicians and performing artists applications are still being accepted at theblocksslc.com and utaharts.org.

“Locally Made, Locally Played looks to shine a light on the local musical community in a way that hasn't been done before,” says Brad Wheeler, Director for KUAA. “This isn't a random guest musical appearance on the radio by a local musician. This is a twice a week radio program dedicated to sharing the local radio airwaves with dedicated local performing artists. We're really looking forward to regularly sharing and discovering with our community a variety of incredible performances from some of Salt Lake City's upcoming artists and veteran performers."

"Finally, a platform to showcase some of the talent in Utah." says Terrance DH, from Counterpoint Studios.

"THE BLOCKS is proud to partner with KUAA and the Utah Arts Alliance on Locally Made, Locally Played," says Lucas Goodrich, Program Director for THE BLOCKS. "Now, more than ever, it's important to support our creative community and offer opportunities to showcase their work. This endeavor is the true embodiment of collaboration and furthers our commitment to support and promote the immense talent of our local artists."
